Meaford Museum

Our small town museum, located at the picturesque Meaford Harbour, is a wonderful way to learn more about the Municipality of Meaford and its rich, unique heritage.

Our exhibit rooms will surprise and delight you. Many of the exhibits have interactive components that people of all ages will enjoy. They tell fascinating stories about the people, places, events and memories which make up Meaford’s past. Marvel at the Man with the Iron Hands, be drawn into the story of our internationally renowned book Beautiful Joe, learn about medicine in the 1880's and much, much more.

Our staff are more then willing to assist you with any questions you might have and are willing to help any person interested in doing research. Our research facilities are open all year round. Come and look upon our past.
