Fuji-wa Quilting Workshop - Quilts in my Garden 2010
Sunday, July 18, 2010 9:00am - 4:00pm
Location: Meaford Hall, North Gallery
“Fuji Wa” is Helen’s style of combining patchwork, panels, and appliqué (Broderie Perse and conventional machine and hand appliqué) to create Asian inspired hangings. The whole system provides you with an unlimited amount of freedom to use techniques you love to do! You get to cut loose! No rights and wrongs if it is what you want to express.
If you aren’t into Asian fabrics, use what you do like. Do something you can enjoy later. Work with colours and fabrics YOU like and it will turn out much better. (Translation: don’t waste your valuable time and money.)
